Phaune, an electronic music band based in Paris asked me to create their logo and also a visual for their first EP called Kodama. Phaune is three friends who come out of a jazz school and immerse themselves in electronic music.
For the logo I use the zodiac astrological reference with the capricorn symbol linked to the Earth element. It's the symbol of the necessary stop, a period of rest, meditation or meditation.
To create the artwork, I was inspired by the graphic processing of Japanese prints and I used a vocabulary of form from the forest. Moss, lichen and mushroom mixed up to become an abstract vegetal carpet.
